Back Up Back Up Back Up
And that subject is not refering to getting too close to something. It entirely relates to the use of computers. I just wanted to take this time to remind anyone that is reading this to back up their computer today. Take a moment right now and think of all the information on your computer and then think to yourself, would I be okay if I just got rid of all of it right now?
If you're wondering about where this comes from, yes, I did lose all my info two days ago. After a year and a half of absolutely no problems on my computer, it just wouldn't start up. The hard drive died. According to...I believe it's LaCie the average hard drive will die between 3 months and 6 years. That's not a typo. It's 3 months! Have you had your computer more than three months? If so, it might be time to back your info.
Okay...I have a confession. I didn't lose all my info. I had backed up about a month ago, so I didn't lose everything. I just lost a lot of fun pictures, new music, and all the new info and work that I had put into my new job. Imagine that. Starting a new job and then losing all the work that you've put into it after the first two weeks. Bummer.
"As for me and my computer, we will back up more often!"
